WNS Research and State Funding Through FY2012

Since 2008, the FWS has allocated approximately $7.9 million for WNS research and state capacity support. In addition, the FWS has provided $2.4 million in competitive State Wildlife Grant funds to states and $310,000 in Section 6 funds specifically for WNS. (Final expenditures for FY2012 not yet complete)

* The Service’s fiscal year runs from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30.
